Sercle

Sercle in Claude

What it does

Sercle is for founders: it measures how far a team is from an objective, walks you through incorporating, and drafts legal documents grounded in your own state’s statutes. This connector lets you ask about all of that inside Claude, answered from your own Sercle account.

  • “What does my company still owe this year?”
  • “Draft our founders agreement”
  • “What is my readiness score actually resting on?”

What you need

  • A Sercle account (free). Every tool reads and writes your own account and you sign in with it when you connect; without one there is nothing to read.
  • Something in the account to work with: at least one entity advisor run, or one objective.

Connecting

In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → add a custom connector with this URL:

https://sercle.ai/api/mcp

You will be sent to Sercle to sign in and approve. The consent screen shows the host the access token will be sent to; check it.

What it can see

Exactly what you see when you sign in, and no more. The connector acts as you, the database’s row-level security applies to it unchanged, and no tool takes an account id, so none of them can be aimed at someone else’s data.

Thirteen tools: eight read your account, five write to it — recording an advisor result, ticking a checklist step, logging a milestone, recomputing readiness, and drafting a document.

Drafting takes a minute or two

A full founders agreement runs to about thirty thousand characters and takes roughly two minutes. The tool returns the document id immediately and the draft finishes in the background; ask again and it reports whether it is ready. The document appears in My Documents in your Sercle account, where it exports to PDF or Word.

Drafting runs on Sercle’s API budget, so there is a limit of 15 drafts per account per day.

Claude Code: add it by hand

In Claude Code, Sercle cannot be connected from the directory — clicking connect returns redirect_uri_mismatch. Adding it by hand is the only way, and it works fully.

The reason is that Claude Code uses a different port each session for its OAuth callback and expects the authorization server to ignore the port when matching. Sercle’s matches the address exactly, and offers no dynamic client registration — so the port has to be fixed and the client ID supplied:

claude mcp add --transport http \
  --client-id efcca6c9-861d-44d3-80c0-e73f1cb3c2a7 \
  --callback-port 1455 \
  sercle https://sercle.ai/api/mcp

That client ID is public — it is not a secret. Authorization still goes through PKCE, and the callback address is locked to http://localhost:1455/callback.

Web, Desktop, mobile and Cowork are unaffected.

Not legal advice

Sercle drafts documents and tracks filing deadlines. It is not a law firm and none of this is legal advice. Every generated document is a draft to review with a licensed attorney.
